Nursing, traditionally speaking, has often been equated to managing the health of the physical body, but to be a visionary nurse is to be an agent of change that transforms the sphere of influence of all those around that person. Health, in its broadest sense, constitutes the whole person, and may encompasses financial health, spiritual health, mental health, community health, relational health, and everything in between. To be a visionary nurse, is to be someone who strategically and intentionally sees health from a whole person perspective and influences sustainable and effective change for life.

I am Owner of Antonette Montalvo Consulting and Coaching Services - where I serve as a Consultant and a Vision & Purpose Coach. I am also a motivational speaker, board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, educator, and author.
I founded the Visionary Nurse® brand and Co-founded Montalvo International, LLC - whose signature project is Montalvo International Community Health Initiative - a community-focused grassroots effort committed to innovatively and collaboratively addressing the health disparities seen in vulnerable communities.
My motivation as a coach does not solely come from my learned experiences in motivational interviewing and health coaching as a nurse, but also through the impact of lived experiences where I have personally learned how to be resilient in the midst of tragedy, transition, and hardships. Because of that, it is my desire to help you stay true to your own dreams and visions despite the heaviness of life circumstances. I want to support you as you write your own story through your own journey, pain, and joy. I want you to understand how to develop as a leader, stay motivated, and leave a legacy.
